Why I’m riding

I only started cycling about 12 months ago, but it has quickly become something I really enjoy. When I heard about the Townsville to Cairns Bike Ride, I thought it would be a great opportunity to challenge myself while also supporting an important cause.

The Children’s Cancer Institute does incredible work to improve outcomes for kids with cancer, and I’m proud to be able to contribute in a small way by taking part in this ride.

The event will definitely test me physically over the three days, but knowing that the ride is helping raise funds for childhood cancer research makes it even more worthwhile.
