I'm fundraising for kids with cancer 👧🧒👶

I am taking part in the Townsville to Cairns Bike Ride to raise funds for Children's Cancer Institute.
Every week in Australia, 20 children are diagnosed with cancer and sadly, three young lives will be lost to the disease. Children's
Cancer Institute is the only independent medical research institute wholly dedicated to childhood cancer.
Together, we can help more children with cancer not only survive but go on to live long and healthy lives.

Wednesday 30th Apr
This year will be my second ride with the TCBR charity.  Last time I did this ride was 2016 with an all ladies group called the Cassowaries.  Despite the fact that we had a pretty major pile up on our first day and lost a few riders due to injury it was a spectacular ride and loads of fun.  The friendships you make on these rides are amazing and the bonus is the dollars raised collectively goes to a good cause.  This year I am also training for the 70.3 or half ironman which is 15th June so much of my training has been done on my TT bike for now in a smaller group.  Stay tuned though as I will hopefully get on a wombats training ride next weekend.  We have a few fun raisers kicking off with lawn bowls being our first.  If you live locally and want to join just scan the code to register!!
