Setting Up Your Fundraising Account

When you register as a participant of the Townsville to Cairns Bike Ride, you will have the opportunity to create an online fundraising page. This is one of the simplest and most effective ways to fundraise, so please take the time to set it up.

If you did not create your fundraising page at the time of registration, there is a link in your receipt of registration email you can use.

If you’re having trouble finding this email, try searching for the subject “Townsville to Cairns Bike Ride Order Completed” in your email.

If you are having trouble finding the email, send an email to the Townsville to Cairns Bike Ride committee for support.

Getting Started

To access your fundraising page, click the ‘login’ button at the top of the menu bar and enter your email and password you created

Your online fundraising page works best when you customise it:

  • Upload a profile photo and personalise your message, tell us why you are riding in the Townsville to Cairns Bike Ride.
  • Make the first donation. Set an example right from the start by making the first donation your page, people are more likely to donate if they can see that others have already done so.
  • Share your fundraising page link using Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Start a blog and regularly update all sponsors on your training and fundraising efforts

Do You Need An Authority To Fundraise

If you want to collect cash or cheque donations from the general public, you may need a fundraising authority. This is a document which verifies that you are collecting on behalf of a genuine charity. If you think you may need a fundraising authority, please contact us for further information.
