About the Event

Celebrating 23 years riding for kids!

The Ride was started in 1999 by Selwyn Hardwick, who experienced a devastating loss when his sister died from cancer and then found out one of his grandchildren had leukaemia.

The sole purpose of the Ride is to raise as much money as possible to help Children’s Cancer Institute carry out vital research into childhood cancer. Since 1999, the Ride has raised over $6.6 million to support the Institute, with over $360,000 raised in 2019.
